Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they’ll love you back. Don’t expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts but if it doesn’t, be content it grew in yours.

Follow the instinct God provides you with, always. He knows what’s best for you and wants you to have a life filled with happiness and love.
Maybe I still live in the past, however I firmly believe that’s a good thing. I live in a time when people thought that arguments in relationships were meant to be solved privately, not in public which puts other people involved in your argument. They are meant to be solved in the privacy of your house where it can stay between the hearts of the two directly involved. Maybe you need a liaison helper, a person to negotiate and help work through things. That’s good, if you solve your problems peacefully, but I see too many people now having arguments in front of their families and on street corners as a daily happening. Personally I don’t think you should involve those people into that aspect of your relationship unless it’s their will to be in it, not if it will hurt them to have to hear it all the time, that’s not right to do to them.
I might be crazy, but driving to the city today made my breath catch in my throat by how beautiful it was! I looked all around me outside the windows of my nice warm car, and all I saw was trees covered in thick, cold, beautiful frost. I always loved winter, but this just blew me away! I might be the biggest nerd ever, but this is simply a beautiful thing if you step back and look!
FROST!
Frost is ice that sublimates directly on the surfaces on which it is found. Sublimation occurs when water vapor, goes directly from the vaporous state to the solid state. To fully understand frost deposition you must think in terms of energy. Water vapor is in a higher energy state than liquid water and liquid is in turn in a higher energy state than solid water (ice). For water to be maintained in a vaporous state, there must be a certain amount of energy available. As energy is removed from the air, i.e. the air is cooled, all the gasses loose heat. Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Water Vapor and all other components loose energy. Eventually when enough energy is removed the vapor must change state and it becomes either liquid or solid. Each liquid water molecule has less energy than each vapor molecule and each solid water molecule has less energy than either a molecule of liquid or gas.
When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this:
God has made the one as well as the other.
Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.
-Ecclesiastes 7:14
Inspiring website about the world and makes me think that maybe one day people will become immune to the bad happening and start to believe the world is a good place. We deserve to see people like the ones displayed in the “living proof” section more often.
Sometimes when you want an explanation - there isn’t one. Sometimes when you want a hug - a simple hug would kill you more than you’re already dead, and you know it. Sometimes you have to leave the past in the past, and think about the wonderful things that God has in the future for you. It may take time for the sting to stop stinging, and the past to stop making you cry, and for you to be able to talk to people without breaking down - but eventually it will happen. If I could promise you one thing, it would be that one day, the failed relationship or the friend who turned and stabbed you in the back will understand how you feel, and remember everything they did and feel bad for it.. IF I could tell you one thing, that wouldn’t be it, because I can’t say that’s true. I would actually tell you that the pain you go through now, will teach you lessons for the future. I tell you this because I know when you’re in the pit of despair, it seems like there will be nothing good come of it. Think back on a time years ago when you felt like you were in the depths you could never escape from… think of what one lesson you learned was, and one thing it taught you. There will always be positives to every negative; a proton to every negatively charged particle. It may take a while to believe it, but I promise you it’s there, so wait and keep living your life, because stopping your life while you wait for something to change, will not make it any faster. A watched phone never rings. You may never get that phone call from the one thing that makes your life worth living if you’re busy waiting for the pain to call again - even if it’s just waiting to explain itself. Remember, sometimes when you want an explanation - there isn’t one. so stop waiting for one.
The poetry of physics, dancing and life
-quantumpie.
A video I came upon in my searches through the internet that made my view of science, physics in particular, turn upside-down! I always found physics to be a study of making something from invisibility, then relating made up numbers to it. All the way through my high-school experience I was confused with the formulas and the reasons why everything is the way it is. Perhaps this could be because I am a rather creative person, and numbers confuse me, but whatever the reason I didn’t understand physics. I thought it was just a curse class that I had to get through to get my diploma, and that it would never help me, and I would never use it.
Watching this video made me think, “okay, well I still don’t comprehend where the numbers for gravity’s difference or acceleration vs. gravity formula come from, but maybe I can use simple things every day.” I went the next day to shovel the snowy, ice packed driveway and thought that there had to be an easier way of doing this! That’s when the video popped into my head, why? I don’t know. I thought, shoveling is simply force downward and direction right? The force you apply onto the shovel to lift the snow off the ground, put together with the direction forward you shovel that pushes the snow and pry’s it up onto the shovel tongue right… So depending on how much force I can apply and how much forward motion I use, does that depend on how much effort I have to put in?
I tried a few different ways of shoveling. I tried using a greater force downward and less forward - needless to say that didn’t work! I tried less downward, more forward - that worked a bit, but there was still ice on my driveway that was stuck. Now if I was smart I would have kept going and done calculations and figured out perfectly what force to apply to shovel my driveway without having to redo it after. Sadly, I am lazy and just wanted the snow away from my driveway so I could see where I slip on the ice when the time comes. I left my discoveries to help me another day and realized that hey, science is everywhere! It intrigued me to see physics in an every day situation that I could use it to manipulate to my advantage.
